Client Retention Campaign

Client: Sampson & Associates, Meeting and Event Planning Specialists
In the event planning industry (more than in most industries), client retention is critical for several reasons... primarily, if their clients' events recur monthly/annually/quarterly, we want to be sure they use Sampson & Associates again and additionally, for referrals. Hence, we developed a quarterly client retention campaign. Using an existing invitation-style brochure, the campaign calls for an insert with a timely message and call to action. The goal is to maintain communication with clients so that Sampson & Associates does NOT become "out of sight, out of mind".
Results: First, Sampson & Associates has never "lost" a client. Each time one of their clients has an upcoming event, they call Sampson & Associates. Secondly, several clients have commented that they are glad that their event planning agency keeps in contact with them as they had misplaced information, moved their offices/homes, etc. By a sending a simple card, Sampson & Associates maintains the relationship with the client and has increased their repeat business and referrals as a result.
