TRUTH or MYTH? Any opportunity to market your business is a GOOD opportunity.
MYTH!
There are a plethora of opportunities to market your business and a multitude of media to do so. These opportunities will come a'knockin' on your door CONSTANTLY... should you just open up your door (and your bank account) and jump at every one? Of course not!
Hence... the statement above is a MYTH!
Each opportunity presented to you should be assessed based on these key factors (at minimum!): <> Does the opportunity reach your target audience? <> Are your competitors advertising? <> What is the response other advertisers are getting? <> Is there a required commitment and are you willing to commit? <> What is the expected return on investment? <> Is it IN THE PLAN? <> Is it IN THE BUDGET?
And never negate the "gut feeling"... if it just doesn't seem right to you, then don't do it... just say "no".
