TRUTH or MYTH? Implementing a marketing campaign takes a lot of time and effort.
MYTH! Actually implementing a campaign is the easy part... if you have a plan. With a solid marketing plan in place (including type, target, frequency, calendar, outline, concept, call-to-action, incentive, etc.), all the "thinking" is done... which makes the "implementing" a breeze.
Take a monthly email marketing campaign for instance. At the beginning of the year, plan out the main topic you will cover each month along with the call-to-action and/or incentives. Sketch it out and write an outline for the copy. Then calendar it (i.e. mark your calendar with the day and time each month that you will send the email). Now implementation is easy. Just write and "send".
