Hi, firstname_placeholder! You've heard it over and over and I'll say it again... "Consistency is the key". But what does that mean? It's simple: 1) all marketing materials should have the same look and feel; 2) campaigns should be implemented on a regular basis; and 3) your message should NOT be "mixed" or "muddy".
ACTION STEPS: 1. Gather your marketing materials together. They should "match" in both look/feel and message. That doesn't mean they have to SAY the same thing, but they should CONVEY the same benefits/features. See an example.
2. Calendar your campaigns and implement regularly. If the campaign is a MONTHLY eNewsletter then how often should you send it? MONTHLY. CONSISTENTLY. If direct mail is the right campaign for you, don't even start if you are not committed to a 3x mailing. Same goes for display advertising. See an example.
3. Do not "mix" or "muddy" messages. Define a focus for the campaign and stick to it. Too many messages dilute the intended purpose and confuse the recipient which results in a weak response. This example has a singular focus.
Consistency requires accountability. If you are responsible for seeing that your company's marketing is on track, let's talk about how to make sure it stays on track. Schedule a no-cost discovery session.
Much success to you,

P.S. Did you know... networking and exhibit marketing are two of the top three ways businesses generate leads and gain new business? The Women in Business Symposium has it all. I encourage you to exhibit or attend.
