So, firstname_placeholder, you know the #1 way businesses get new business, right? REFERRALS!
My question is... are you just waiting for your clients and colleagues to send new business your way? OR are you marketing to encourage referrals?
Action Steps: 1) Make a list of your last 10 new clients that you received from referrals and note the person who introduced them to you.
2) Now look at the list of "referrers" and write down the reasons/situations that prompted the introduction.
3) Use those words in your marketing to encourage referrals. EXAMPLE: If you have a handyman business and your client, Joe, referred to you because he heard his neighbor say "I just don't have time to do everything on my 'honey do' list!" Then in your marketing, you might say "If you ever hear someone complain about not having enough time check off their 'honey do' list, please send them our way!"
Now... in exactly WHAT marketing campaign should you be using this "referral encouragement" language? That depends on your current marketing efforts, your industry and other factors. If you'd like to find out more, schedule your no-cost, no-obligation 30-minute Discovery Session via phone to see which "referral encouragement" campaign is right for YOUR business.
Much success to you,

P.S. Referral Campaigns/Programs should be one of your Four Core Marketing Strategies. Email me to find out what the other 3 are :o) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
